Customer must create an account through app or by webpage – need IoTStream to advise.
This customer account could take on the current role of company in the mindr platform –
IoTStream to advise.
Customer will enter key account details such as:
Name
Address
Mobile number
Email address
Credit card details for billing
At the end of the account registration process they will be sent an email which they must pass on
to their installer so he can assign the tracker correctly to their account during the installation
process.
3 account levels Bronze (free), Silver (security subscription), Gold (security & Management subscription).
Bronze installation, the tracker is only activated by the installer to download the CAN table and test the installation, it is then suspended until the
customer activates their subscription. No app requirement as the unit works without GSM connection. If vehicle is broken into or stolen it flashes lights
and honks the horn which is all installation specific.
Silver – Includes Bronze account features + the Silver security subscription (up to 10 vehicles & Drivers (TBD)).
Gold – Includes Bronze & Silver subscriptions + the Gold management subscription. This has SMB vehicle management with security (up to 10
vehicles & Drivers)
Customer installs the app then sets up an account which is basically the same as Comp Admin account in MindR. The installer will assign the tracker to
the Account name during installation, up to 10 trackers per account.
The installer runs through the installer workflow:
Pairs Tracker to customer account
Activates SIM
Installs Tracker
Test Installation
Put SIM card into suspend mode.
Installer notifies Customer that the installation is complete and the customer can then activate the subscription from within the app which activates billing
(same as activate and make live in MindR) and shows vehicle on the map.
